Clam Digging Demo
Demo by Matt Racheleau “The Clam Man”, including the use of a scratch rake. Those interested can proceed to the dock at Green Pond for a presentation on the aquaculture taking place in Falmouth. At the site, the Shellfish Constable will be giving a tour of the upweller, an important piece of equipment for the nursery culture of shellfish, and discussing various ways that shellfish are grown. After the presentation, you have the option of joining the Shellfish Constable in seeding Bourne’s Pond. |

Meet at the Sandwich dock for a 2 hour trek with a lobsterman. Take a tour of the boat and equipment and experience pulling lobster traps. Then pick your own "bug" for a special dinner at The Bee-Hive Tavern, where you'll be joined by the captain. "Salty Lou's" will be waiting at the dock to take the lobsters to the BeeHive for cooking.

Not only is the Cape Cod Maritime Museum the official "headquarters" of the 3rd annual CLASH -- but they will also be offering rides on their authentic replica catboat Sarah during the entire CLASH weekend.
