Directions: From Hyannis, take Route 28 to Mashpee Rotary, continue past Mahoney’s Garden Center and Oysters Too Restaurant in East Falmouth. Turn left onto Central Avenue at The UPS Store & Kenyon’s Market. Continue on Central Avenue to the ocean. Turn right at stop sign onto Menauhant Road. Bourne’s Pond is on your right. Beach parking lots are on left.

Clam Digging Demo

Demo by Matt Racheleau “The Clam Man”, including the use of a scratch rake. Those interested can proceed to the dock at Green Pond for a presentation on the aquaculture taking place in Falmouth. At the site, the Shellfish Constable will be giving a tour of the upweller, an important piece of equipment for the nursery culture of shellfish, and discussing various ways that shellfish are grown. After the presentation, you have the option of joining the Shellfish Constable in seeding Bourne’s Pond.

Farm Tour
A lovely 20-acre farm in Falmouth. Pick your own fall fruits, vegetables and flowers. The farm comprises five greenhouses with demonstration hydroponic and aquaculture systems, picking fields, a general store, a café, an ice cream stand, and a menagerie of animals including alpacas, babydoll sheep, miniature Mediterranean donkeys, Nigerian dwarf goats, ducks, chickens, a turtle, a rabbit, and a macaw.

Meet at the Sandwich dock for a 2 hour trek with a lobsterman. Take a tour of the boat and equipment and experience pulling lobster traps. Then pick your own "bug" for a special dinner at The Bee-Hive Tavern, where you'll be joined by the captain. "Salty Lou's" will be waiting at the dock to take the lobsters to the BeeHive for cooking.

Weather permitting. Limited to 6 people. Price per person for tour: $15.00 (to cover diesel fuel costs); cost of dinner/lobsters extra.

Wet Harvest Bog Tour

Makepeace is the largest cranberry grower in the world. Join us for this tour where growers will showcase the beautiful art of wet harvesting. The tour will depart promptly at 11:00 am from the Tihonet Village Market. Once the tour is complete, guests will return to the market where cranberry gifts, lunch and ice cream are available for purchase. Please note that guests are required to provide their own transportation--travel on dirt roads will occur. Dress for wet conditions and bring your camera!

Take a Ride on Catboat "Sarah"

Not only is the Cape Cod Maritime Museum the official "headquarters" of the 3rd annual CLASH -- but they will also be offering rides on their authentic replica catboat Sarah during the entire CLASH weekend.

The Cape history and tradition of ‘fishing under sail’ will be explained aboard!.

Cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children for a sail lasting approximately 90 minutes.
